Sasilada Sirirungruang is a Ph.D. researcher with expertise in biotechnology and synthetic biology. She currently serves as a postdoctoral scholar at the Joint BioEnergy Institute in Emeryville, CA. Educated at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (SB '14) and the University of California, Berkeley (PhD '20), Sasilada brings a world-class academic foundation to her research endeavors. Her work focuses on the structural and biochemical investigation of biosynthetic enzymes, which are natural catalysts that construct value-added chemicals such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and fuels.
