Sheikh Mohammed Rafiul Huque

Professor Dr. Sheikh Mohammed Rafiul Huque is the former Director of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He is currently involved in teaching and research on supply chain and environmental sustainability in agribusiness, using GIS, marketing innovation, and agribusiness innovation.

Dr. Huque has been engaged in research and teaching activities in Japan, Malaysia, and Bangladesh for approximately 20 years. His research interests include agribusiness supply chain management, environmental sustainability, consumer behavior, quality management, and strategic issues for policymaking at the national level. Additionally, he is interested in organic product marketing, organic agriculture, innovation, and blockchains.

He served as a project leader and member of numerous projects funded by various international organizations, focusing on the organic movement, environmental and rural sustainability, community participation and social livelihood management, green agriculture, and strategic issues in agribusiness. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Business Review and the Editorial Advisory Board of IGI Global. He has reviewed papers for the British Food Journal, Organic Agriculture, Social Responsibility Journal, Global Business Review, and IGI Global.
