Magdalena L. Mendoza

Mendoza is the Senior Vice-President of the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP). Her work entails providing high-level advisory and consultancy services to the Philippine government on public-sector and management reforms and capacity development. She has rich experience in strategic reviews and reorganization, policy development and analysis, performance management, productivity measurement, quality management, and integrity development. Her intimate knowledge of the Philippine bureaucracy stems from over 30 years of service and work experience in government.

She earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines and completed her Master’s in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, as a Li-Ka Shing scholar.

Mendoza is in the roster of APO Productivity Experts and is credited locally and internationally for her significant contributions and relevant research (either as lead or co-investigator) and publications in the areas of governance, public-sector productivity, leadership, and management.
