Monica D. Saliendres

Saliendres is a DAP Fellow and currently serves as the Director of DAP-PDC’s Productivity Development Research Office. Her extensive expertise includes business excellence, service quality, program management, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and regulatory management. She is proficient in applying quality and productivity tools and systems in agroindustry and its value chains and authored various studies on the agriculture sector emphasizing the need for smarter regulations and the use of ICT.

Saliendres also serves as a faculty adviser and program representative for Public Management Development Program (PMDP) scholars of the DAP. She has been a Philippine Quality Award assessor for three cycles, evaluating organizations in both the public and private sectors.

With over 25 years of experience in the public sector, she holds a Master’s in Public Administration, majoring in Public Policy and Program Administration, from the University of the Philippines, where she also earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration. She also attended the Phronetic Leadership Training of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo, Japan.
