Dennis Steentjes

Dennis Steentjes was born in the horticultural center of the Netherlands, the Westland area. He moved to Japan and started working for Delphy Japan as a horticulture consultant in 2016. He currently advises Japanese (mid/high-tech) growers to help them increase their production, sales, and sustainability potential. He visits on average 25 greenhouse locations per month, spread all over Japan. 


Steentjes gives advice regarding climate control, irrigation, fertilization, pest management, and labor management. He is currently involved in several projects involving autonomous greenhouse control (AI), automation of greenhouses (robotics), and the expansion of online tools to facilitate the digitalization of the Japanese horticulture industry.
