Specializes in the area of community-based tourism management through extensive experience in the Tourism Authority of Thailand and related government ministries as a chairperson and adviser. Received an MSocSc in Tourism Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham, UK, and PhD in Tourism Planning and Management from the University of Queensland, Australia.
