Dr. J. Nagesh Kumar is a Mechanical Engineer with post graduation in Energy Management from NPC. He also holds a Doctorate in Energy Efficiency in the field of Gas Turbines. He had been in the field of Energy Efficiency for almost three decades with National Productivity Council during which he was cultivated to use productivity practices leading to energy efficiency. As a consultant and trainer he has assisted many industries and commercial establishments to enhance their energy efficiency. He is the 2019 winner of the waste heat recovery challenge of UNIDO’S Facility for Low Carbon Technology Development (FLCTD).  He  now heads the Centre for Energy, Environment and Productivity (CEEP). He is one of the authors for the Guide Books on Energy Efficiency for the National Certification Examination for Energy Managers and Energy Auditors.
